Brock Lesnar Loses To Velasquez Cain

Oct 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The reigning champion Brock Lesnar had to give up give long reigned throne, after he was challenged by Velasquez Cain, in UFC 121 on Saturday. Now, it is Velasquez Cain, who will be regarded as the new UFC Champion.
Brock Lesnar, who is known for as one of the best heavy weight champions, had to succumb to the energy of young Velasquez Cain, and lose the game to the Mexican amateur, at at 4:12 of the first round. As the game started, Brock Lesnar charged Velasquez Cain, who on reflex, held him and gave him a spin, followed by a few consecutive punches. Brock Lesnar used his arms to defend himself, followed by another bulls in for another take-down attempt. This was regarded as the worst strategic mistake on Brock Lensar’s part, and an advantage for Velasquez Cain, as the latter cornered him to the fence, followed by stronger punches. This fight continued, with Brock Lesnar trying to defend himself with no avail. Finally, by 4:12 of the first round, Velasquez Cain jumps on his opponent, and Herb Dean waved to declare the new champion. The new champion however feels that it was not that easy for him, because first of all he was too nervous to strategize in the right way, secondly, he could also feel Brock Lesnar’s strength, as he was trying to defend.
With that, Velasquez Cain became the first Mexican, to get the UFC championship title. As he won, he created a lot of excitement amongst the entire Latino community, and promised that he would continue to represent the Latinos in the future as well. His victory, may not be have excited the fans of Brock Lesnar, but it definitely had a positive effect on the PR and business of UFC, which will now expand rapidly to the Hispanics community also.
