The Saturday night bore witness to one of the most exciting matches at the Ultimate Fighting Challenge 100. The two heavyweights, namely Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir encountered each other to provide an electrifying match. The match ended with Brock Lesnar emerging victorious. He defeated his opponent in the second round.

All through the match the strength of Lesnar was evident as he ousted his opponent by 4-1, thus winning over a considerable margin. What caught the attention of all, is the series of “right hand shots” that Lesnar threw over his opponent’s face, in the high intensity match. The match was indeed a game worth watching because it is after almost more than a year, that Brock Lesnar has been able to defeat Mir in a heavyweight fight.

Even Lesnar himself was contended after defeating Frank Mir which came out in his taunt over his opponent, who was then still lying on the ground. Known for his rising temperament, such attitude was expected but besides this, he also made an obscene gesture to the crowd as he raised his middle finger, that was evidently pointed at them. The match took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday.

Frank Mir, who was the crowd’s favorite had been able to deliver a couple of good shots to Lesnar and had tried a flying knee. But Lesnar was far too a good opponent to defeat Mir, as he made him lay on the ground till the referee blew the final whistle. According to the experts, this marked a historic match in the UFC.
