Briti teen model accuses footie star of beating her after having sex with pal
October 20th, 2010 - 5:54 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct. 20 (ANI): Teen model Laurie Henderson has told police that a half-naked Premier League striker Andy Carroll assaulted her after she walked in on the sex romp at her own home. The Newcastle United ace, 21, hotly touted as a future England star after catching the eye of boss Fabio Capello, has been accused of grabbing Henderson’s hair and banging her head on a bathroom floor.
Carroll has strenuously denied the attack - which allegedly followed a night out with chums in Newcastle after his side’s 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic at St James’ Park, the Sun reports.Laurie claims she was in bed when she heard Carroll and a girl called Holly Richardson having sex in the next room.
The footballer was arrested for the alleged assault hours later at a hotel where he is currently living. Yesterday he appeared at Hexham Magistrates’ Court in Northumberland.
Two security guards led him into the dock where the chairwoman of the bench, Patricia Reed, granted him bail on condition he lives with Newcastle captain Kevin Nolan.
Carroll will appear in court again in January. (ANI)
