Brit tennis ace’s Bikram Yoga therapy to crack Oz OpenJanuary 9th, 2008 - 5:00 pm ICT by admin
London , Jan.9 (ANI): Britain’s number one tennis player Andy Murray has taken up Bikram Yoga in order to keep his cool at next week’s Australian Open.
Bikram Yoga involves hours of body-bending exercises in a heated room.
Murray, who won last weeks Qatar Open, was quoted by The Sun as saying that: You expect it to get hot here but Ive been doing yoga in 42-degree heat, so hopefully, Ill be used to it.
“Its a great way of getting used to the heat and also improving your flexibility. Youre in a room with no windows, trying to hold postures and stay balanced and concentrated all the time. Its really tough, he said. (ANI)
