Brit Muslim boxer Amir Khan to take up yoga
July 25th, 2010 - 9:13 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 25 (ANI): WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan, 23, has said that he will take up the ancient discipline of yoga to develop his unused muscles.
The Daily Express quoted a source, as saying: “Amir is going to take up yoga as part of a new training regime. He has read about the remarkable benefits it has had for other sportsmen - especially Ryan Giggs.
“This is not some hippy claptrap - it is a move to make him an even better boxer and bigger star.” (ANI)
