brian1Philadelphia, Feb 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) For Brian Westbrook the game is not yet over. After he was released from the Philadelphia Eagles team after playing under the banner for eight seasons, Brian Westbrook seemed optimistic as he has reportedly said that there are 32 teams and he will surely get into one and continue playing.

Brian Westbrook who had played a crucial role in many of the Philadelphia Eagles’ wins and was considered one of the key players had for the last season played only eight games and has suffered from ankle injury. He also could not manage to provide his team with a win in the last season ending match against the Cowboys at the NFC wild-card game. The team suffered a 34-14 loss in the game.

However, Brian Westbrook reportedly thanked Philadelphia Eagles and his fans for their support and said that he understands that even football is a business and that for a player aged 30 it becomes harsh sometimes. He also added according to reports that when it is considered as a business then it becomes tough to keep a veteran player who has also suffered from injury. However, according to reports the player has said that the Philadelphia Eagles did not put in front of him any pay cut packages or a new deal which he would have considered and welcomed.

Brian Westbrook is considered one of the greatest in the football game and has many records behind him. According to him three to four teams have already approached his representative. As of now the team for which the star will play has not been decided.
