Brett Favre’s Chin About To Recover

Nov 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) New hopes for the Minnesota Vikings fans as Brett Favre has recently reported that his chin injury is on the verge of recovery and has healed quite significantly. According to reports, the 20-year-old quarter-back has revealed that he will be back with a bang on Sunday, to play against the New England Patriots in week nine. He also expects to give his best shot and play with full spirit in order to win his next game.
The quarter back of Minnesota Vikings, Brett Favre has said that he needs no more injections to numb the pain and he has not been limping much. However, he added that there is still some pain in his toes, but not so much in his ankles. The trainer will tape his ankle so that his movements are restricted for sometime and he gains complete recovery by the next week. Brett Favre plans to wear a size 15 shoes, a size bigger than the normal, for the sake of extra precaution. An artificial mold has been made for him, so that it can act as a substitute of steel-toed shoe.
On Sunday’s match against the New England Patriots, Brett Favre was hit hard on his chin by defensive tackle Myron Pryor’s nasty shot in the fourth quarter of the match. The player badly injured his feet had to take eight stitches on his chin. At that time, things seemed pretty serious as he had to be helped off the field. He was then replaced by back up Tarvaris Jackson. Brad Childress, the coach of Minnesota Vikings has reported that in case Brett Favre cannot make it in the next game, Tarvaris Jackson is continue to play as his replacement. However, he has also assured that the quarterback is most likely to return after a week.
