Brett Favre Gears Up For Playoff Game Against Cowboys

Minneapolis, Jan 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All eyes would be on Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre when his team clashes with Dallas Cowboys during Sunday’s playoff game. Pressure would be immense on the Vikings player to ensure his team’s victory during the much anticipated showdown with the Dallas Cowboys.
While talking to reporters recently, the 40 year old quarterback reiterated that one of the main reasons for joining Minnesota Vikings was to advance the team to the Super Bowl this time. Moreover, the player also added that his main aim is to defeat the Dallas Cowboys and to achieve victory, he would be devote all his energy to Sunday’s game.
Meanwhile, the quarterback displayed a scintillating performance this season for the Minnesota Vikings as he led the team to NFC the North title as well as a first-round playoff bye. Meanwhile, Brad Childress, coach of the Vikings has stated that the quarterback with his enormous experience would surely prove to a huge advantage for his team. Brett Favre’s impressive performance during this season has fueled anticipation about the quarterback’s performance during Sunday’s playoff game.
Till now, the quarterback has been associated with only a single Super Bowl victory which took place in the year 1996, when he used to play for the Green Bay Packers.
For the major part of his career, Brett Favre played for the Green Bay Packers before he announced his retirement for the first time in 2008. Later the quarterback also played for New York Jets and again declared his retirement in February, 2009. In the later part of the year, he joined the Vikings after coming out of his retirement for the second time.
