Brett Favre faces elbow injury and scandalous affair allegations

On his 41st birthday, Brett Favre might wish for another birthday present than the one, which he is presently getting.
The star who injured his elbow is being investigated by the NFL for allegations by Deadspin.com that he sent inappropriate pictures of himself to former Jets sideline reporter, Jenn Sterger when he was a player there in 2008.
Favre declined to comment on the allegations on Friday.
Favre currently play for the Vikings. After Vikings’ practice on Saturday, the coach, Brad Childress answered questions from journalists on the issues of the NFL investigations and Favre’s injury.
On the injury, the coach said the MRI scan on the player shows that there is a little inflammation to the player’s elbow. The player had tendonitis on the same elbow some ten years ago.
Childress told reporters that the issue of Favre’s alleged text messages and pictures are no distraction to him and his team at all.
Meanwhile the women at the center of the controversy, Jenn Sterger has admitted that she will co-operate fully with NFL investigators concerning the issue. She however said she doesn’t want to pursue the case any further than that.
