Brandon Wegher Helps Iowa Win Orange Bowl

brandonMiami, Jan 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The college football season of this year ended for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Georgia Tech. Iowa Hawkeyes won the Orange Bowl, the last game of their present schedule and will start their preparations for the coming season with some good hopes. Though the outstanding defense of the team did not allow the Georgia Tech to score much points in the game, the offense players also displayed some good moves. Brandon Wegher, the young talent of the team has scored touchdown in the final moments and helped the team clinch the title.

As per the reports, not even two minutes were left for the game when Brandon Wegher scored a touchdown of 32 yard and clinched victory on behalf of his team. His performance in the final moments of the bowl deserves special mention, though he had played well throughout the game. Not only Brandon Wegher but also the other offense players of the team had rallied well and dominated Georgia Tech in the game.

Apart from Brandon Wegher, Ricky Stanzi had also made a commendable performance in the Orange Bowl. The player who had to miss some games for injury was in his peak form last night and made his fans happy by his performance. His presence on the field was a great news for the Iowa supporters and the way he performed in the last quarter of the game was really wonderful. With the help of an aggressive offense and strong defense, Iowa team tied the final score to 24-14 and celebrated their win in the 76th Orange Bowl.
