Aug 25 (IBNS) Third baseman Brandon Inge’s artwork on his forearms never ceases to evoke curiosity and interest.

The artwork is suspected to be tattoos. In such lines of speculation, Brandon Inge may have taken “Tiger4lyfe” to a new level. If looked the right forearm appears to say, “Tigers.”

Earlier this year Brandon Inge let a young feller, a hospital patient he was visiting, autograph his forearm and promised to hit him a home run.

Inge obliged and hit a home run for the kid.

A fellow Tigers fan believed that the artworks are indeed ‘real’ and they bear his kids’ names — Tyler and and Chase.

Meanwhile, Brandon Inge’s offensive numbers have been a growing concern of Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland, who said he planned to discuss the matter with Inge before Monday night’s game.

Inge, playing with patellar tendinitis in his knees all season, said the problem “started to get bad” right before the All-Star game.

He was batting .268 with 21 home runs and 58 RBIs at the break, but is hitting .164 with three homers and nine RBIs since. He was 2-for-27 (.064) entering Monday’s game.

Leyland said: I need to get to the bottom of it. You just can’t play that way.
