Boxer Sarita Devi wins gold
August 9th, 2009 - 5:26 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) India’s woman boxer Laishram Sarita Devi won the gold medal in World Police and Fire Games at British Columbia, Canada.
According to information received here, Sarita Devi defeated Web Hayley of Canada in the 57 kg category Saturday.
Sarita Devi was the lone Indian boxer in the tournament. Sarita Devi is an inspector with the Manipur Police.
