Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. suspect in domestic violence case‎

LAS VEGAS (BNO NEWS) — Nine-time boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is suspected of committing domestic violence against his girlfriend on Thursday, TMZ reported.

Thursday morning, at around 5 a.m. local time, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department received a call from Mayweather’s girlfriend, Josie Harris, who claimed she had been attacked by the future hall-of-famer.

Upon the arrival of multiple police officers, Mayweather was no where to be found as they are reportedly seeking to interview him regarding the incident.

Harris was reportedly taken to the Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas where she had medical attention, but was released shortly after.

Mayweather Jr., 33, has won boxing world championships in five different weight categories, remaining undefeated after 41 bouts. He has been considered on several occasions throughout his career as the number one pound-for-pound boxer.
