streetNew Orleans, Jan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bourbon Street went into celebration mode on Sunday following the victory of the New Orleans Saints against the Minnesota Vikings, taking them up to the Super Bowl for the first time, and catapulting the relatively lackluster team from almost obscurity right into the soothing glare of the spotlights. Moreover, there was double cause for celebration for those who had watched the game: the kicker of the New Orleans Saints, Garrett Hartley, shot back into the limelight for having scored the game-winning 40 yard goal. All the post-game action was streamed live online, recorded in the webcams in the party venues.

Webcams had been fixed not only in Bourbon street, but some other areas in downtown New Orleans too, like Lee Circle and Jackson Street. All the action in these areas were streamed online, live. The webcams show these streets packed with revelers, mostly New Orleans fans and devotees of Garrett Hartley, celebrating the victory of their favorite football team. In fact, the celebrations had started even before the game had actually taken place, the streets covered with the colors of both the teams.

After the game, however, the scene changed completely. Lee Circle, Jackson Street and Bourbon street got flooded with the colors of the New Orleans Saints, with no one visible wearing the colors of the Minnesota Vikings. The celebrations are available in various websites for those who had missed out on all the fun and the excitement on the night of the win. The view is fantastic, with all the excited and happy supporters reveling, singing and dancing.
