Dec.22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After experiencing intense humiliation for quite some time now, Tiger Woods finally has someone who understands his plight. Tennis icon Boris Becker has expressed his utmost sympathy for Tiger Woods in a television interview on Monday. The tennis star has further added that he can understand the trauma that the disgraced golfer is going through as he had faced a somewhat similar situation way back in 2001, when he went through a divorce that received immense media attention.

The divorce of the 42 year old tennis legend was the consequence of his infidelity with a Russian model, with who he had also fathered a child following a brief relationship. The German tennis icon was subjected to immense humiliation after his affair with the model came to light, which resulted in his separation from his wife. At the same time, Boris Becker added that he earnestly hoped that the golfing legend could eventually reunite with his wife but also emphasized that it would surely turn out to be immensely difficult. Reportedly, Elin Nordegren is being seeking divorce from her unfaithful husband and had also demanded the sole custody of their two children.

Moreover, Boris Becker also added that he was hugely shocked by the sheer magnitude of the incident and wondered how the golfer managed to keep track of the innumerable affairs and at the same time cover up his deeds. The tennis star also added the stories about the alleged flings of the golfer would continue to emerge irrespective of the fact whether they are true or not.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods has decided to take a break from his golfing career to come to terms with the controversy surrounding him.
