Bookies offer 25/1 odds Rooneys would call newborn WaynettaMarch 30th, 2009 - 8:08 pm ICT by ANI
London, Mar 30 (ANI): As England striker Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen prepare to welcome their first child together - bookies are betting on what would they call their little tot.
Coleen, 22, is three months pregnant after they began trying for a baby at Christmas.
“They don’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl yet - they don’t mind either way,” the Sun quoted a source close to the couple as saying.
However, William Hill has offered 25/1 odds that they would call a little girl Waynetta, inspired by the comedy character in Harry Enfield’s TV show.
They can also name her Olivia (6/1 odds).
And if they have a baby boy, the couple is likely (4/1odds) to name him Alex, after Wayne’s Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
According to friends, the couple is “delighted, excited and absolutely thrilled”.
They are expecting their first child in September. However, Rooneys plan to have a large family, as Wayne is keen for “three or four” kids. (ANI)
