Bolton star Klasnic not be charged for rape
February 21st, 2011 - 2:32 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb.21 (ANI): Bolton Wanderers star forward Ivan Klasnic will not be charged over the alleged rape of a teenage girl, police have said.
According to The Sun, Klasnic was arrested last October after reports a 17-year-old had been assaulted at a Manchester city centre apartment.
The Croatian football international, 30, was not there when cops arrived just before 5 a.m., but was arrested later and bailed.
Greater Manchester Police said: “After an inquiry, a man of 30 arrested on suspicion of rape will face no further action.” (ANI)
