fiestaJan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fiesta Bowl is over and it is two days to go for the Bowl Championship Series game that is scheduled on January 7. This year, the TCU team had taken up the Boise State for the Fiesta Bowl on Monday and exhibited a strategic performance throughout. Though both the teams have quite a strong offense, they did not display much aggressive performance yesterday.

As per the reports, both the teams this year had focused on their defensive performance and fans witnessed a game played in the defensive mode throughout. Boise State as well as TCU had shown some outstanding offense this year and fans expected to see a high scoring game when they took on each other. However, things turned just the opposite. They completely relied on their offense to win and it is quite amazing that at the end of the third quarter TCU had scored offense of 203 yards while Boise State recorded 218 yards.

None of the teams allowed their opponent to score an early lead in the game, it was the Boise State, who grabbed the title of the Fiesta Bowl. According to the reports, the final score of 17-10 showed that the Boise State offense played a praiseworthy game in the fourth quarter and collapsed the defense wall of the TCU. Boise State, which recorded 10 points by the end of the third quarter managed 7 points in the last quarter. While the offense players of the Boise State rallied in the end, the defense played an impeccable game throughout and did not allow TCU to score a single point in the final moments.
