Bobby Bowden May End His Coaching Career With FSU On Tuesday

billTallahassee, Dec. 01, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bobby Bowden who has won three hundred and eighty eight matches as a coach might retire from his spectacular coaching career this year. An ESPN report states that on Tuesday Florida State Seminoles coach would announce his decision of retirement. It has also been stated that Mr. Bowden will meet with Randy Spetman [athletics director] and T.K. Wetherell [FSU President] before he declares to end his thirty-four years term with the team.

However, when contacted by the Associated Press, on Monday evening, Bowden said that he has not yet come to any decision about his coaching career. They also reported that on Tuesday, the coach will once again meet with the officials of the University. Earlier his wife told the media that Mr.Bowden will not coach the team in the coming season if only the team officials decides to terminate him from his job. She has been confident about her husband’s records and said, “if they’ve got enough guts to do it let them do it.” On Monday, she too said that nothing has been finalized about her husband’s retirement and so the team officials will once again have a meeting with him.

Though some sources report that Bobby Bowden will retire on Tuesday, none of the officials have confirmed the report. Therefore, speculations regarding the coaching career of Bowden will only end after the coach or the team officials confirm any report about his retirement. Bowden has played a dominating role in this game for several years and his retirement will surely disappoint many football fans across the country.
