bob1Mar 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The WWE Hall of Fame is going to induct into its final chambers a multi-talented personality, none other than Bob Uecker. The man who has shone equally in the many diverse fields he had trod in his career, be it as a sportscaster, actor, comedian, and, most famously as a player in Major League Baseball, has been chosen as the final inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2010. He had shone as a backstage interviewer at the Wrestlemania, bringing his own unique flavor to the wrestling competition, sprinkling the shows with his acerbic wit and matchless humor.

The induction of Bob Uecker in the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2010, will be taking place in Phoenix in Arizona, on the coming Saturday, Mar 27. The induction of the multifaceted personality will be presided over by Dick Ebersol, who is the Chairman of the Olympics and also the NBC Universal Sports. After his formal induction, Bob Uecker will be holding the same spot of honor as the likes of Ted DiBiase, Gorgeous George, Pete Rose and William Perry. The others who will be inducted along with Bob are Wendi Richter, Stu Hart, Antonio Inoki and Maurice Vachon.

Bob Uecker is most noted as, besides being a legend in the Major League Baseball, the radio commentator of the Milwaukee Brewers. In fact, he had started his career at the Major League Baseball as part of the Milwaukee Braves. He is also well known for the roles he essayed in the popular sitcom “Mr. Belvedere,” in which he played the part of George Owens to perfection.
