bob-davieJan 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bob Davie, who reigned as the head coach of Notre Dame, has some good news in store for him. Craig James, the ESPN broadcaster got into a soup after being considered instrumental enough to have aggravated things which led to the suspension of Mike Leach, a renowned coach. Bob Davie is being considered to replace Craig James in the booth, for Tech Alamo Bowl’s game against Michigan State.

Bob Davie is certainly moved by the decision taken by the head coach of University of Florida, Urban Meyer, to step down from his authoritarian position due to health issues. He commented that the ups and downs in the life of a coach are too much to take in. To live up to the expectations of the fans, the pressures when team work fails in spite of the best efforts. The coach has the inclination to internalize the losses and wins his team has in its kitty.

Bob Davie stated that it is like ‘drugs’ when a team is in a winning spree. It is a kind of addiction, which one gets hooked on to. When a team goes through a rough weather, the decisions taken by the coaches haunt them as to lay hands on the reason what went wrong. Bob Davie has reflected on his experiences and the wise nuggets of his contemplative mood really make us feel that it is truly a tough job which takes a toll on the physical and mental make-up of a coach. At the end of everything, Bob Davie still loves his profession to the core.
