Blake Griffin Los Angeles, Oct 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Blake Griffin is injured and could miss upto 6 weeks of play. He has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left patella, which would take 6 weeks recovery time. He suffered this leg injury in the team’s final pre-season game. Los Angeles Clippers revealed this sad piece of news to the fans on Monday night.

Blake Griffin is the team member of Los Angles and he plays as the Clippers forward. He was picked up for the National Basketball League for the first time as he impressed the authorities with his earnest and impressive performance.

Blake Griffin was born on 16th March 1989 in the US. He played for the Oklahoma Sooner during his college football career. He was awarded many times and was also the winner of the John Wooden Award, the Naismith Award. He also remained the player of the year for college basketball season in 2008-2009.

He was also a hot favorite to win the NBA award but it now looks dicey since he is all set to lose 6 weeks of play due to the stress fracture in his kneecap.
