Bhupathi-Knowles crash out of Cincinnati Masters semis
August 23rd, 2009 - 8:15 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Cincinnati, Aug 23 (IANS) India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles crashed out of the semifinals of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 with a 4-6, 3-6 loss to second seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia.
Nestor-Zimonjic thus avenged their semi-final loss to the fourth-seeded Indo-Bahamian pair in the Rogers Cup last week.
The Canadian-Serbian pair lost their serve once, but broke Bhupathi-Knowles four times to take the match in almost an hour here Saturday.
They will take on defending champions and American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan in the final.
