Bhullar, Sujjan move up at Indonesian Masters

Jakarta, April 23 (IANS) Gaganjeet Bhullar moved closer to a top 10 finish with a fine four-under 68 built on four birdies in the back nine at the Indonesian Masters golf here Saturday.

Bhullar’s 68 took him to five-under 211 for three rounds, while Sujjan Singh (69) was now one-under for three days and in 26th place at the $750,000 tournament.

The other two Indians making the cut, Amandeep Johl (74) and Digvijay Singh (76), were tied 60th and 67th, respectively, at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club.

The overall leader was former World No.1 Lee Westwood (66). Westwood was five clear of second place Thai Thitiphun Chuayproakong with 16-under for the week at 200, while the Thai shot 69 to reach 11-under.

Bhullar’s round was built around the four birdies he had on the second half of the course after having two bogeys and two birdies on front nine.

Park Hyun-bin of Korea, who has only one bogey in three round fired a 70 to share second place with Chuayprakong on a 205 total in the inaugural event.
