Berbatov is great talent to watch: Ferguson

London, Aug 22 (ANI): Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has reposed faith in his striker Dimitar Berbatov’s, and said he is a great talent to watch.
Berbatov silenced his critics who were predicting a summer move for him, by starting the new season with a goal in the Community Shield victory over Chelsea and then again scoring against Newcastle United last Monday.
“He has great ability. As I have said time and time again, when we sign a player for a lot of money there’s a big expectancy. When they are not performing to the level some think they should, it is shown in a big way,” The Daily Express quoted Ferguson, as saying.
“Last season I could point to a lot of games in which he played very, very well. He has got great talent and he remains here,” he said.
“Dimitar has great belief in himself, and when you have confidence in your ability and you can express it, then there is not a lot wrong with you,” Ferguson added. (ANI)
