t1_molina1Pitch hitter Bengie Molina of the San Francisco Giants made some commendable deliveries that fared his team a victory over the D-backs. He made a 3-run home run in the 8th innings of the baseball match.

The team has improved the initial deficit by now listing itself three games behind Colorado, who stand first on the National League Wild Card race. Giants manager Bruce Bochy sent Molina for Ryan Garko after he got the prompt from Randy Winn, who hit the ball beyond the infield to the right. Molina belted reliever Chad Quells 0-2 pitch towards the left field.

Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez showed some boosting effort when he struck 9. Other players also contributed to the victory. Arizona took great advantage of Ryan Roberts’ lead-off homer, the sixth dinger for the season. Gerardo Parra and Alex Romero both hit RBI singles, and that was a backfire scenario on the field.

The D-backs tried to thwart being conceded by the Giants and only seemed to be recovering with a pair of runs which happened for them in the 3rd innings.

Molina is the younger brother of Jose Molina and nicknamed as “Big Money” in his team. Apart from his repute for solid defense, the player has reportedly emerged as an offensive catcher. He was initially called the “good glove, no hit ” catcher but he has come a long way from that point. He has won the “Gold Glove” for his performances in 2002 and 2003 for being the top defensive player on the Major League.
