Dec.18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry who received fatal injuries on Wednesday following an accident, passed away on Thursday morning. The death of the 26 year old player not only comes as a rude shock to his family but to his team as well who had desperately hoped that he would recover from the injuries. Although, following the accident, the player was immediately taken to a hospital in Charlotte, the doctors could not do much to save the young player as he had received severe head injuries that ultimately led to his death. However, exact details regarding the cause of the death still remains unclear.

Meanwhile, reports reveal that the accident took place following an altercation that the player had with his fiancee Loleini Tonga on the fateful day when the incident took place. Reportedly, his fiancee drove away in a truck and Chris Henry followed her by jumping into the back of the vehicle. Unfortunately, the wide receiver slipped away from the truck and fell which resulted in the fatal injuries. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police revealed that he was taken to a nearby hospital in a serious condition.

However, the young wide receiver was known to have been involved in trouble in a number of occasions earlier due to his multiple arrests as well as other incidents of player misconduct. While reacting to the bad news, Carson Palmer, Bengals quarterback added that the player was misunderstood by many people and emphasized that the people who actually knew Chris Henry quite well remembered him as an extremely kindhearted person.
