Dec 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was involved in a serious accident in the Charlotte area of North Carolina on Wednesday. According to certain reports, the player has received severe injuries after he was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend that led to the entire incident. Sources have also claimed that following the accident, his condition is quite serious as supposedly he has been kept on a life support.

Meanwhile, his team has also confirmed the news and a statement has been released by them which says that the wide receiver has indeed suffered major injuries. Jack Brennan, spokesperson of Cincinnati Bengals, has reportedly added that the team is ready to provide any sort of help to the injured player’s family and at the same time has added that Chris Henry is presently receiving treatment at a hospital located at Charlotte.

At the same time, sources have revealed that the incident took place when the player was visiting his girlfriend Loleini Tonga’s family. The accident reportedly took place when the player got in a truck that was being driven by his girlfriend as the couple were involved in a major fight. The player sustained the injuries as he unfortunately slipped from the back of the truck and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital after cops found him with serious injuries. However, at the moment no information has been revealed regarding the nature of the injuries sustained by the wide receiver.

The 26 year old player is also known for getting involved in multiple cases of misconduct outside the field. After receiving injuries last month, the wide receiver was placed as injured reserve.
