Bengals Play First Game After Chris Henry’s Death

San Diego, Dec 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) What could have been a better tribute for wide receiver Chris Henry than his team’s win in the first match after his death. However, it did not happen, as the Cincinnati Bengals in their first match after Chris Henry’s death could not win against the San Diego Chargers.
Marvin Lewis, the coach of the Cincinnati Bengals considered the death of Chris Henry to be extremely sad but said that they have recovered from that sorrow. He said, a win in the game against San Diego Chargers would help them prove that they are ready to play without Chris Henry. However, the Cincinnati Bengals in spite of making great efforts, failed to win the match.
The players of Cincinnati Bengals were shocked and disheartened by the sudden death of their talented wide-receiver and attempted to give their best in the field. Yet, it did not appear that the team has completely recovered from the damage done by the sudden demise of their teammate.
San Diego Chargers, who are in a good form this season remained unbeaten in this game too. They continued their winning streak and ended the match with a 27-24 score. Cincinnati Bengals could not win the match for a little difference of score yet they played well and did not allow their emotions to overwhelm their thoughts when they were on the field. However, luck did not favor the Bengals and the last moment decision of the match brought more disappointment for the team, which has been already dismayed by the death of their player.
