Ben Roethlisberger Undergoes Surgery To Fix Broken Nose

Ben RoethlisbergerPittsburgh, Dec 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ben Roethlisberger, the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers had to undergo a surgery on Monday to restore his nose that was broken during Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to reserve an impressive victory against the Ravens during Sunday’s showdown, the win unfortunately did not turn out to be that sweet for the star-quarterback of the team who was injured during the game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers star quarterback broke his nose during the first quarter of the game when Haloti Ngata, the defensive tackle of the Baltimore Ravens sacked Ben Roethlisberger which left him with a bleeding nose. The Baltimore Ravens player was not penalized for his actions and after receiving preliminary treatment at the sideline following the incident, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback made a comeback to the game unfortunately without even missing a game. While talking to reporters after the Steelers 13-10 win over the Baltimore, the injured quarterback revealed that he realized that he was bleeding after the clash but when he was taken to the sideline he could very well feel that something was not right by the look of everyone’s face. The star quarterback also went on to add that the shape in which he was following the game, made him feel as if he had just went on 12 rounds with Manny Pacquiao.

In the meanwhile, sources in the Pittsburgh Steelers have affirmed that Ben Roethlisberger underwent the surgery on Monday and has been recuperating from it. In spite of his physical woes, the Pittsburgh Steelers star quarterback is expected to play in the Sunday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
