Ben Henderson Claims Undisputed WEC Lightweight Title After Defeating Jamie Varner

Sacramento, Jan 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The hopes of Jamie Varner to make a spectacular comeback in the WEC arena had been smashed by Ben Henderson, last night at Sacramento. The fight between Jamie Varner and Ben Henderson was the most hyped WEC match of this week. The fighters did not disappoint their fans and fought until Ben Henderson defeated his opponent by using the guillotine choke.
Both Ben Henderson and Jamie Varner had good records in the game yet Ben Henderson proved himself to be stronger than his opponent. According to the reports, both the fighters did not waste any time and repeatedly attacked each other from the first round of the game. Their constant aggression thrilled the spectators and raised their expectation. The action-packed fight of the first round gained momentum in the second and third round. With the gradual progress of the match, it became more enticing and Ben Henderson started to get the control of the game. He had displayed some outstanding moves in the third round.
The fierce duel stopped only after Ben Henderson clinched victory against Jamie Varner. Ben Henderson had exhibited some outstanding fighting stunts against the challenger and suppressed all his attacks. Jamie Varner, who was in no mood to accept defeat had put forth some strong strokes to dominate Ben Henderson but the latter was not moved by any of them. He remained strong throughout and had replied to every strike in a much stronger way, finally leading to the submission of Jamie Varner in the match. By winning the fight against Jamie Varner, Ben Henderson has claimed the WEC lightweight title.
