London, Feb 9(ANI): England and Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham will continue training with Tottenham Hotspur for a further two weeks.
Beckham has been training with Tottenham in recent weeks despite the London club failing to tie up a short-term loan deal.
“David has extended his training spell at the club until February 22,” the Sun quoted a Tottenham statement, as saying.
Earlier, Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp Redknapp had said that he is keen to maintain a strong relationship with the 35-year-old, whose contract with Los Angeles Galaxy runs out in November.
Beckham was scheduled to return to the States today for his final season in the Major Soccer League (MSL). (ANI)
