BCS Rankings Determines The Clashers At The Bowls

gyi0062262607_mediumNov 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Every fan of football has been waiting to know the final BCS ranking of week 14, which was declared yesterday at about 7:30 p.m. The BCS standing was an important affair as that would not only determine the fate of the teams but also decide which are the teams that would qualify or the four Bowl games that has been scheduled for 2011.

According to the ranking the two teams that have been qualified for the BCS Championship Game are Auburn and Oregon, as these are the top two teams and therefore qualify for the title match. The score of Auburn is 0.9779, while Oregon just missed it for .0002, with an average of 0.9777, to rank second. The two much anticipated teams to play for Rose Bowl are Texas Christian University and Wisconsin. The former ranks third, with an average of .9167 and the latter ranks fifth with .8185. The Arkansas and the Ohio State will be playing for the Sugar Bowl. Arkansas with a score of .7189, comes seventh in the BCS standing, while its opponent has a score of .7632 that gave it the sixth position. Virginia Tech and Connecticut would clash each other or the Orange Bowl. Virginia ranks fifteenth with an average of .4396, while Connecticut does not come under the top 25 teams of the BCS standing. The Fiesta Bowl will see the fight between Nebraska and Stanford, who stand at .5071 with the thirteenth rank and .8413, with the fourth rank respectively.

The two teams that come last in the BCS standing are Northern Illinois at twenty five, with an average of .0482 and West Virginia at twenty four, with a score of .0542. The Big 12 title game is also set, where Nebraska and Oklahoma will clash at the Cowboy Stadium.
