BCCI invites global bids for team sponsors

- Mumbai, Nov 2(ANI): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today opened its global bidding process by inviting bids from various companies to sponsor the four national teams, including the premier men’s outfit.
The BCCI has invited bids for sponsoring the senior men’s, India A, men’s under 19 and the women’s team.
BCCI’s existing men’s team sponsorship deal with Sahara India Pariwar concludes at the end of March next year.
The BCCI has started selling the bid documents at Rs five lakh a copy, which is “non-refundable and non-adjustable”, as per the tender notice put on by the Board Secretary, N Srinivasan.
The bidding process would end at 5 p.m. on November 24, and the bid documents would be opened at the BCCI office in Mumbai on November 25 at 2 p.m.
The BCCI has also reserved its right to “cancel or amend the entire bidding process at any stage and to reject any and all bids without providing any reason”, the notice said. (ANI)
