BCCI declares dates for South Africa tour
January 15th, 2010 - 2:24 pm ICT by ANIMumbai, Jan 15 (ANI): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Friday, the Test series to be played between India and South Africa would begin on February 6 in Nagpur.
Both the teams will be given a three-day break before the second match of the series that will be played in Kolkata on February 14.
BCCI secretary N Srinivasan said in a statement, the three-match ODI series will start a couple of days after the end of the second Test and the first match will be held in Jaipur on February 21.
The second and third match of the ODI series would be played on February 24 and February 27 in Kanpur and Ahmedabad respectively. Both these matches would be day-night affairs.Team South Africa was earlier scheduled to play only five ODIs, but they agreed to play the tests following a BCCI request. (ANI)
