Baylor Bears Defeats Sam Houston State, Robert Griffin Shines

plkanbeWaco, Texas, Sep 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of the Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin could not have asked for anything more on Saturday night when his team clashed with Sam Houston State. The 19-year-old player delivered a performance which can be best described as scintillating as he lead his team to 34-3 victory over the opponents by running 30 yards for a touchdown while he also delivered a 68-yard touchdown pass on his second series.

The anticipation regarding Robert Griffin’s Saturday night’s performance was huge among all the fans as well as the football fraternity as this was the very first time that the quarterback was seen back in action after he underwent a reconstructive knee surgery. It would not be misleading to say that the large number of fans who had gathered at the Floyd Casey Stadium last night surely saw a glimpse of the sporting prowess that the Baylor Bears quarterback is known to for with the manner in which he ensured his team’s triumph. At the end, it was quite clear that Robert Griffin is all set to make a huge difference to his team and with last night’s win over Sam Houston State, things are surely looking good for the team.

While reacting to the role that he played in making sure that his team tasted victory during Saturday night’s game, a visibly delighted Robert Griffin later told the reporters that being back in the football atmosphere was something that really made him feel good. Throughout the game, the Bearkats were completely overpowered by their opponents as the latter failed to put up a challenge.
