Bayern likely to play in Delhi in January

Kolkata, Oct 10 (IANS) Famed German soccer outfit F. C. Bayern Munich could be seen in action in the national capital early next year, if all goes according to plan.
“If everything falls in place, then Bayern Munich may be seen in a friendly against the Indian national team in Delhi in January. They have expressed an interest to play in India,” All India Football Federation (AIFF) vice president Subrata Dutta told IANS.
AIFF sources said Bayern has given an assurances that they would be sending their full-strength side, that includes the likes of Bastian Schwensteiger, Thomes Muller, Franck Ribery and Philipp Lahm.
