Nov 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Barry Sanders Jr seems to be living up to the name of his legendary father, Barry Sanders Sr. He is gradually proving himself to be a great running back these days to bring pride to Heritage Hall High School in Oklahoma, where he is studying right now. However, since he will soon be graduating from school, several teams all over the United States are looking forward to sign him.
Through his Heritage Hall High School Chargers’ 5-0 start, Barry Sanders Jr has scored 14 touchdowns and rushed for 970 yards. Earlier this year, he made a remarkable performance when he ran the ball 13 times for 313 yards. He also scored 5 touch downs in that particular match, that was played against Tulsa NOAH. Although several teams have approached the player to join them, Barry Sanders Jr has shortlisted a few of them. These include Alabama, UCLA (University of California Los Angeles), Oklahoma State and Florida State. So far he has not yet made any final decision regarding which team he would be playing for. However, some sources speculate that he would be opting for UCLA, as they have offered him with several scholarship offers.
Some people also wanted him to follow the footsteps of his father and join the Detroit Lions. However, it seems that neither the player, nor his other fans are very keen about the idea. One of them wrote online, addressing the Detroit Lions, to stay away from Barry Sanders Jr, as the team’s ineptitude has abstained them from watching a quality game of his father. Therefore they do not want the team to mess with young Barry Sanders Jr.’ career. It also said that if they try to get him, then not only the entire nation but also the people of Detroit would start hating the Detroit Lions.
