Baltimore Ravens Acquire Wide Receiver Anquan Boldin

Baltimore, Mar 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Three time Pro Bowl wide receiver Anquan Boldin has been acquired by the Baltimore Ravens after a third- and fourth-round draft pick in the 2010 draft. The 29 year old much acclaimed player was traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Baltimore Ravens, who offered him a whopping $28 million dollar contract for a period of four year, in which $10 million is guaranteed.
The addition of Anquan Boldin in the Baltimore Ravens is expected to greatly improve the wideout situation of the team given the fact that free agent Donte’ Stallworth was also signed last month. While reacting to the new phase in his NFL career, the talented wide receiver emphasized that it was surely a great opportunity for him as he loved the football played in Baltimore. At the same time, Anquan Boldin also acknowledged that the Ravens play one of the hardest games in the league which he would surely like to contribute to as he found it similar to his style of game.
Meanwhile, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh implied that Anquan Boldin was indeed a pivotal addition to the team who would be able to contribute to improve its performance with his physical and uncompromising way. Moreover, the coach also emphasized that all the fans of the Ravens would surely love to see the talented player play for the team and also expressed excitement of the Ravens to have the wide receiver with them.
Meanwhile, Anquan Boldin has earned recognition as the fastest player to reach the mark of 400 receptions in the history of NFL. He has also surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in five of his seven seasons.
