Baldini to take over as Roma’s general manager
July 14th, 2011 - 9:21 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 14 (IANS) Franco Baldini, who worked as general manager of the England soccer team with coach Fabio Capello for the last three years, will return to take charge of AS Roma at the end of the Euro 2012 qualifiers later this year, the FA announced Thursday.
FA said the 50-year-old Italian would be leaving, although he could return temporarily if England qualify for the finals in Poland and Ukraine.
Baldini would not assume charge at Roma until England complete their qualifying competitions.
