Baichung, Bagan to hearing on Tuesday
September 7th, 2009 - 1:27 pm ICT by IBNSKolkata, Sep 7 (IBNS) Former Additional Solicitor General of India Amarendra Saran has issued notices to Baichung Bhutia and Mohun Bagan club to be present for their hearing on the suspension row on Tuesday Septemper 8 in New Delhi.
The parties can either come in person or be represented through their lawyers, the notice said.
Notices have also been issued to All India Football Federation and Indian Football Federation.
The parties have been asked to file their replies by September 8, claims, counter claims, any application for interim relief etc. The arbitrator is hopeful that the matter will be resolved in the next seven days.
Mr Amarendra Saran has been appointed arbitrator by the AIFF. Bhutia was suspended by Mohun Bagan for six months without pay on June for missing a few training sessions and an exhibition match. He made an appeal to IFA and later AIFF took up the matter.
