Azlan Shah Cup: Pakistan beat India 3-1
May 11th, 2011 - 8:43 pm ICT by IANSIpoh (Malaysia), May 11 (IANS) Pakistan came back from a goal down to beat India 3-1 in the Azlan Shah hockey tournament here Wednesday.
Rupinder Pal Singh converted a peanlty corner for India in the first half. Pakistan equalised through Umar Butta while Muhammad Imran and Sohail Abbas converted penalty corners to put it across India.
It was Pakistan’s first victory aggainst India in six encounters.
In another match, World champions Australia beat South Korea 4-2.
