Australia beat India by 24 runs

Virender Sehwag Mohali, Nov 2 (IANS) Australia defeated India by 24 runs in the fourth One-day international at the Punjab Cricket Association stadium here Monday.
Chasing 251, India were all out for 226 in 46.4 overs.

Virender Sehwag (30) and Sachin Tendulkar (40) gave India a good start, but from there on Indian batsmen lost the plot.

Harbhajan Singh (31) and Praveen Kumar (16) fought back before Shane Watson (3-29) removed both.

Doug Bollinger (3-38) and Nathan Hauritz (2-31) were the other successful bowlers.

Australia thus levelled the seven-match series 2-2.
