Atwal drops to tied 19th at Heritage golf
April 23rd, 2011 - 7:38 pm ICT by IANSNorth Carolina, April 23 (IANS) Arjun Atwal dropped to tied 19th place, down from overnight second after carding two-over 73 in the second round of the Heritage golf tournament here Friday.
Atwal is now four-under for two rounds following a round of 65 in first round.
Atwal’s lone birdie came on the 11th and he dropped shots on the 17th, sixth and seventh.
The lead is held by Luke Donald of England, whose 65 in second round saw him climb to 10-under 132 and he is one ahead of Garrett Willis (64-69). Camila Villegas (68), Jim Furyk (66), Jason Day (65) and Chad Campbell (69) were all tied third at eight-under 134.
