AT&T Ends Contract With Tiger Woods

attJan 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It appears that things are turning bitter for the celebrated golf pro, Tiger Woods. The golfer has faced several adverse situations, after infidelity reports of multiple affairs have started to surface. The negative publicity of the golfer, which has affected his image has made many sponsors to reconsider about their deals with him. As per the latest reports, the telecommunication networks of AT&T has decided to terminate the contract with the golfer. Therefore, adding much agony, the logo of AT&T would no longer be visible on the bags of the golfer.

The company officials have not made any comments on the termination of the contract. AT&T has issued a statement of ending the contract with Tiger Woods and have wished him good luck for his future. Losing one more contract is quite disappointing for the golfer, who is already going through a bad phase of his life. AT&T’s contract termination is indeed a great loss but the exact amount of money that the golfer would lose for the termination of this contract has not been reported.

Though the company has ended its terms with the golf pro, they have indicated that they would continue sponsoring AT&T National PGA tour in July. It has been reported that AT&T has not changed their decision of sponsoring the golf tournament that would help the charitable foundation of Tiger Woods. However, Tiger Woods’ association with the tournament is not yet confirmed. In the last few days, Tiger Woods has lost some of his major sponsors. Accenture and Gillette have ended terms with the golfer. Yet, Gatorade and Nike till now have maintained a healthy professional relationship with Tiger Woods.
