Athletic Bilbao extend contract of teenage sensation Munian
December 1st, 2009 - 9:20 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Madrid, Dec 1 (DPA) Spanish Liga club Athletic Bilbao announced Tuesday the extension of the contract of teenage forward Iker Muniain until 2015.
Munian, who turns 17 later in December, became the youngest ever player to score in La Liga on October 4, when he netted in Bilbao’s 2-2 draw away to Valladolid.
The Spanish Under-18 international is the youngest player ever to play for Bilbao and one of the youngest ever to play in the Spanish first division.
