Mohali, Mar. 30 (ANI): Sachin Tendulkar scored his 94th half century in one-day internationals took India to 141 for the loss four wickets at the half-way stage of the second World Cup semi-final match against Pakistan on Wednesday.
Tendulkar was dropped thrice on his way to his half-century. The wickets to fall so far were Virender Sehwag (38), Gautam Gambhir (27), Virat Kohli (9) and Yuvraj Singh (0).
Pakistan left arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz claimed three wickets for 13 runs, two of consecutive deliveries.
Earlier, India which won the toss, made one change to the team, including left-arm fast bowler Ashish Nehra in place of offspinner Ravichandra Ashwin, while Pakistan fielded an unchanged squad for Wednesday’s World Cup semi-final clash at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here.
Asked why he had chosen Nehra over Ashwin, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that he wanted more options at his disposal when Pakistan comes in to bat in the evening. He also said that Pakistan’s batsmen were also good players of spin, and added that having Nehra good prove useful at the death.

By the end of today, either India or Pakistan will have earned a place in the World Cup final against Sri Lanka.
