Asian Games cycling: Mahita finish ninth in points race
November 16th, 2010 - 2:03 pm ICT by IANSGuangzhou, Nov 16 (IANS) India’s medal hope Mahita Mohan came a dismal ninth while Suchitra Devi Konsam could not finish the women’s points race finals at the Asian Games cycling here Tuesday.
Mahita had earlier finished last, at 10th place, in the 500m time trials, which was her main event.
In the men’s keirin, O. Bikram Singh and Prince Herbert Sara Hylem came second in their respective repechage and qualified for round two later in the day.
