Asian Games athletics: Krishna wins women’s discuss throw bronze
November 23rd, 2010 - 5:42 pm ICT by IANSGuangzhou, Nov 23 (IANS) India’s Krishna Poonia won a bronze medal in the women’s discus throw event at the Asian Games here Tuesday.
Krishna’s throw of 61.94m secured her the third place. Another Indian, Harwant Kaur finished fourth with an effort of 57.55m.
Yanfeng Li (66.18m) and Aimin Song (64.04m) of China won the gold and silver, respectively.
