London, Mar 8(ANI): Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has claimed that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere would have been in the reserves if he was at Camp Nou.
Guardiola also took another swipe at Arsenal by claiming that Wilshere is “lucky” not to be at a club where titles are not as important.
“Wilshere is a top player, and has been a big surprise. I didn’t know him at the start of the season. In the first game he had a really good performance,” the Sun quoted Guardiola, as saying.
“He can be a great player for Arsenal and England, but we have many types of player like him in our second team,” he added.
The 19-year-old was earlier praised for his highly influential display against Barcelona in Arsenal’s 2-1 Champions League victory. (ANI)
